Frank Warren claims there are several options being considered for Daniel Dubois’ next move aside from a rematch with Anthony Joshua.

Warren was sat ringside last month to watch his man Dubois stunningly knock Joshua out to retain the IBF heavyweight world championship at a packed-out Wembley Stadium.

Early indicators were that the two would run it back straight away, with Saudi chief Turki Alalshikh reportedly keen on a second all-British showdown between the pair.

However, though Warren confirmed ‘Dynamite’ would be out again in early 2025, he added that it “may not” be against Joshua again.

Speaking to TalkSPORT, the Queensberry boss stated:

He’ll fight next year, early next year. And we are just looking at a few matches

“I hope we get it done by next week, who he’ll be facing. But he’s going to defend his title and we’ll see who it’s going to be.

“It may be AJ, it may not. It depends. But whatever happens, he’ll be out.

“He’ll be facing someone, that’s for sure, and capitalising on what he did in that fight.

“I mean, he really, really announced himself on the world stage in a big way, didn’t he?

“I mean, I have no problem with that fight [Joshua rematch]. I’d have that fight all day long for him.”

If a rematch with ‘AJ’ is not to be next, Dubois has been linked to fights with the likes of Joseph Parker, Zhilei Zhang and the winner of the December 21 rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.

Many high profile figures in boxing have urged Joshua to steer clear of a rematch with ‘DDD’, with some even saying he should consider hanging up the gloves all together.

However, his promoter Eddie Hearn insists the Watford man, who celebrated his 36th birthday today, is adamant that he wants the chance to take revenge over his younger national compatriot.
