Danny Roman (19-2-1, 7 KOs) weighed in at 122 lbs., while challenger Enrique Quevedo (16-7-1, 10 KOs) measured 121.4 lbs. at Thursday’s “New Blood” weigh in. Roman vs. Quevedo is the 10-round main event that originates Friday night from the Omega Products Events Center in Corona, Calif.
In the co-feature, heavyweight LaRon Mitchell (13-0, 13 KOs) meets Mario Heredia (14-4, 12 KOs) in a fight scheduled for 8-rounds. Mitchell weighed in at 244.8 lbs., and Heredia tipped the scales at 274.2 lbs.
“I’m expecting a tough and rugged fight,” said Roman, who is defending his title for the fourth time. “Quevedo is going to bring it, and so am I.”
