This Thursday night at the Martin’s Valley Mansion in the Cockeysville, Maryland, Tori Nelson will be making the 1st defense of the her WIBA Welterweight title when she defends against Kali Reis in a bout schedule for eight rounds.
Nelson, who is undefeated with a record of 7-0-3 knows that she has a tough task ahead of her and expects a great fight from Reis (5-1-1, 2 KO’s)
“I think it’s going to be a good fight”, said Nelson. “Kali has a nice straight right hand and she likes to stay in the middle of the ring.”
Nelson knows that this is a good opportunity to make a name for herself in front of a worldwide audience.
“I am excited. Ever since i began fighting i think about fighting title fights. Thursday will give me a chance to showcase my skills.”

Nelson is the former WBC Middleweight, WIBA Middleweight and she won the WIBA Welterweight title with a ten round unanimous decision over Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes on September 13th.
Reis of Providence, Rhode Island has a record 5-1-1 with 2 knockouts knows that this a great opportunity to become a world champion.

But she knows that she will have her work cut out for her to win this title.
