The AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships Qinhuangdao 2012 has brought together record number of participants as 305 woman boxers from 70 nations arrived in China to battle it out for World Titles in ten weight categories in a historic competition. The semi-finals and finals for the 2012 world championships will take place this weekend, and they will be available to watch live online.

With women’s boxing making its debut at the London 2012 Olympic Games, this event is doubling up as the qualification tournament for three weight categories, 48-51kg, 57-60kg and 69-75kg, ushering in a new era for the sport.

With the competitiveness at an all time high, this 7th edition of the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships has been top-drawer with the best boxers in the world looking to make their mark on history on the biggest stage of all.
